My husband of 31 years is a music director at our church and I have 3 beautiful Boys. Although not quite boys anymore, They are now men, my youngest having just graduated from college. Empty nesters here.

Licensed in 2004, I was excited to sell our home, find our new lake home, and a few investment properties.. I was Equally thrilled to help friends and family with their home buying, selling, and investing needs! After years of successfully helping others with their real estate needs, I have realized recently that the last few years have caused us all to pause a bit as we found ourselves at home more than ever before. We started  rethinking what home meant to us. We were experiencing a major life event while other life events were continuing to happen around us. We went from dropping kids and heading to work and lots of extra curricular activities to online zoom meetings for work and online school for Kids: All together under one roof.

For many, a discovery of how awesome their home was and maybe some realized their home wasn't the home they thought it was, or maybe more importantly, it wasn't the home that fit their needs Now.

Many started asking themselves questions about what they might want in a home now that working from home may continue to be an option.Others asked themselves, What am I waiting for? Why am I waiting on that vacation home or forever home?

I've been honored to help answer those questions for so many!  Judy Waters has become my Partner in "Shine", bringing her 25 years of teaching experience to help our clients realize their real estate goals and dreams. Judy moved to Georgia 22 years ago and received her real estate license in 2018. She has been married for 22 years and has 2 amazing children. Austin is attending UGA and Avery is in High School. Both are involved in music and sports, and Judy is always looking for ways to incorporate more pets into their home.
